Remedy live on a red-lit club stage — singer front and center, drums and guitar behind her
Upper Midwest

Remedy

The cure for a quiet night.

Five players. Zero quiet nights.

Remedy is a five-piece out of the Upper Midwest — a Top 40 band that plays its own originals right alongside the 70s, 80s, and 90s covers that raised everybody in the room.

A Remedy night isn't background music. It's the fiddle crying over one song and the guitars snarling through the next, a piano filling in every color between, and a drummer who's been driving bands since he was seventeen. Clubs, casinos, festivals, private events — wherever the night needs curing, this is the band that shows up with the dose.

Kimberly Fournier singing into a microphone under red stage light

Kimberly Fournier

Vocal / Violin — “Kimberly Rae”

A classically trained violin that weeps and soars between verses, and a voice that carries songs lived, not just learned — tender one moment, fierce the next. Kimberly Fournier is the aching heart of Remedy's sound. She's a Northern Michigan University graduate, Class of 1996.

George Van Meter behind his keyboards, giving a thumbs up

George Van Meter

Piano / Vocal

Where the guitars snarl and the drums hit, George Van Meter is the color in between. His keys give Remedy its harmonic depth — the light and shade, the dynamic range that turns a loud band into a full one. He doesn't chase the spotlight; he builds the room it shines in.

Adam Seckinger behind his drum kit on stage

Adam Seckinger

Drums

His dad was a drummer in a blues band — that's what lit the fire. Adam Seckinger has been gigging since he was 17 and hasn't stopped: Dirty Trixx, Mother Fletcher, RoadHead, Julian Pike & The Jones, Dying World. There's a lifetime in every downbeat.

Brian Dey

Guitar / Vocal

Performing since 1976 — half a century on stages — Brian Dey's lead guitar drove Semi Psyched and Spicoli before it landed in Remedy, where his voice carries songs too. Since 1986 he has shaped the next generation of players through his Guitar Geek Academy. A Wisconsin institution, disguised as a guitar player.
